A few of our recent projects include:

Mn/DOT T.H. 610 Design/Build Project
HTPO provided construction surveying for this new 4-lane freeway in Maple Grove extending from County Road 81 to TH 169. Project included mainline highway, bridges, loops and ramps, intersecting collector streets, utilities, fencing, ITS, noise walls, retaining walls, and ponds.

Mn/DOT T.H. 61 Hastings Bridge Design/Build Project
This project includes bridge replacement over the Mississippi River as well as municipal street, utility, trail, drainage and landscape improvements. HTPO's scope includes surveying, utility coordination, construction staking and design for vegetation preservation, landscaping, site features, sanitary sewer and watermain. Construction on this project is scheduled to be complete in 2013.

Mn/DOT T.H. 169 Design/Build Project
HTPO performed construction inspection and environmental compliance inspection for this 1.5 mile extension of T.H. 169 through the City of St. Peter. The project consisted of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, watermain, minor grading, surfacing, milling and overlaying, signals, lighting and signing. Work on the project was completed in 2010.

Mn/DOT T.H. 212 Design/Build Project Team Member
HTPO is proud to have been a part of the Zumbro River Constructors team for the $238 million Mn/DOT Hwy 212 Design/Build project. Work on the project was completed in August 2008.

Columbine Road
City of Eden Prairie, MN
Design included a new collector roadway bordering the Purgatory Creek floodplain utilizing lightweight fill; intersection, pedestrian, and storm sewer improvements; wetland fill/mitigation.

Logan Avenue
City of Bloomington, MN
The realignment of Logan Avenue and intersection improvements at Old Shakopee Road (CSAH 1) and 98th Street was a state aid funded project that included utility relocations, turn lanes/median improvements, new railroad crossing, new traffic signal and lighting, streetscape and pedestrian sidewalk. This project required extensive coordination with the County, Railroad, and City/Contractor regarding the adjacent City Hall construction.

Northwood Parkway Overpass
Eagan, MN
HTPO performed a boundary survey for design for extension of Northwood Parkway over I-35E creating a new east-west connection between Pilot Knob and Denmark Avenue. Teamed with SRF Consulting for this project.

Hillcrest /Alpine Street Reconstruction and Storm Sewer/Stormwater Treatment Improvements
City of Eden Prairie, MN
This project reconstructed 1.6 miles of streets within an existing neighborhood. Design characteristics included coordination with county, wetland delineations, storm sewer improvements and the addition of storm water treatment structures. Extensive coordination with residents and private utility companies was required during the design and construction of this project.
